Dr. Siva Nagaiah Bolleddu is a senior academician and currently serves as Professor of English, Dean – Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and Director – Online Learning & Open and Distance Learning (OL & ODL) Programmes at Audisankara Deemed to be University, Gudur, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh, India. With over 25 years of teaching experience and 14 years of post-doctoral academic engagement, he has made significant contributions to English language teaching, literary studies, institutional quality assurance, curriculum governance, and digital higher education.
Prior to joining Audisankara Deemed to be University, Dr. S N Bolleddu served in reputed institutions such as KL University, Guntur; VIT University, Vellore; Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur; and Vignan’s Lara Institute of Technology and Sciences, Vadlamudi, Guntur, gaining wide academic and administrative exposure across central, deemed, and private universities.
Dr. S N Bolleddu earned his Ph.D. in Dalit Personal Narratives from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2012, reflecting his sustained commitment to socially engaged and inclusive literary scholarship. His also earned an M.Phil. in Postcolonial Studies with special reference to Seamus Heaney’s Poetry in 2007 and an M.A. in English Language and Literature with Romanticism as a special subject in 1998. His teaching and research interests encompass English for Engineering and Business Communication, Indian English Literature, Dalit Literature, Gender Studies, Critical Thinking, Research Methodology, and Academic Writing.
As Dean – IQAC, Dr. S N Bolleddu plays a pivotal role in institutional quality assurance, NAAC-related processes, outcome-based education (OBE), and continuous academic improvement. In his capacity as Director – OL & ODL, he oversees the planning, implementation, and monitoring of online and distance learning programmes in alignment with UGC regulations and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
An accomplished academic leader and teacher-trainer, Dr. S N Bolleddu has held several key administrative positions, including Vice-Principal of the Academic Staff College, Head of the Department of English, and Head of the Department of Arts (BA with IAS Orientation) at KL University, Vaddeswaram, Guntur. He has successfully guided three Ph.D. scholars and supervised 23 undergraduate research projects.
A recipient of Best Teacher Awards, Dr. S N Bolleddu has an impressive research profile with 58 research publications and two books, and extensive participation in national and international conferences. He serves on the editorial and review boards of eight international journals and holds memberships in professional academic bodies. His scholarly contributions are indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, ORCID, Google Scholar, and VIDWAN.
